Starting Karate

You should be of reasonable health to begin training and tell the class instructors of any special circumstances regarding your  health.

A typical session starts with a 10 minute warm-up and around 10 to 15 minutes of stretching.
This is essential to prepare your body for Karate training and prevent muscle strains and injury.

The rest of the session is dedicated to Karate training itself where you will learn techniques for

  • Self Defense
  • Kumite (fighting)
  • Kata (Patterned Movements)
  • Syllabus work (structured course to build to your next Grading)
  • Competition Karate.
  • Impact \ pad work

Sessions will vary from week to week.
