The SKDF\ KDF Squad member Lee Rose won Gold in the 18 to 20 years 78 + kgs section at the EKF Nationals 22.3.2009 in Sheffield, Lee has been training with Sensei Tony Gray for 14 years since he was 6 years old now 20 Lee has won his 1st National Kumite title along with several British and English Medals over the past 5 years Lee trains at the United services club Barking & the Upminster dojo regularly and is dedicated to his Karate training a very well done to Lee and just reward for all his hard work over the last 14 years, Ross Mathieu won a Bronze medal in the -68 KG section Ross was disappointed with his bronze medal but has maintained consistancy over the last few years winning English \ British titles also Ross is now a Junior English International and recently returned from the Junior Europeans we are sure the best is yet to come from Ross a very talented Karate Ka who trains under his father guidence Sensei John Mathieu 4th Dan in Poplar East London.
